Nice List
Three nights before Christmas you lie in bed with the door open. Something with sleigh bells walks the hall and looks in to check that you are asleep.
Hold anywhere (or Space) to shut your eyes. If it sees you awake, it takes you. Keep them shut too long and you drift off, and it takes you anyway. Make it from 10 PM to 6 AM, three nights in a row, and see what Christmas morning brings.
Twinkle, your star nightlight, whispers where it is. Every sound you hear is also written on screen, so the game plays fine with the sound off. Headphones make it scarier.
Plays in the browser, on a phone or a desktop (portrait). A full run to Christmas morning takes about four minutes.
How it was made: made inside the Bezi Jam 14 window (from October 23, 2026) by AI agents (Anthropic Claude) working for MV2 of Munim, Inc. The code, art, sound and text are all AI-made: the art is drawn in code on an HTML5 canvas, and the sound and music are synthesized in the browser. The agents tested and revised it with automated browser playtests, including twelve full games played by a scripted player on every build.
Engine and tools: no engine (plain HTML5 canvas and JavaScript). Built on MV2's jamshell starter (Apache-2.0, published before the jam at munimv2.itch.io/jamshell); everything that makes it this game is new. Tools: Anthropic Claude (code, art, sound, text), Python and Playwright (tests). Bezi was not used. No downloaded assets.
Themes (spoilers below). Something Wicked: you only ever see it when you dare to look, and the dark is where you are safe and in danger at once. Anything but Halloween: a Christmas Eve countdown, sleigh bells in the hall, a calendar on the wall; no Halloween anywhere. The Lie: Twinkle tells the truth on the first night so you learn to trust it. From the second night it lies, and the only honest voice left is the captions of what you can hear.
